Our Yin yoga training draws practitioners to a more contemplative aspect of yoga that prepares the mind and body for meditation. On the physical level, it focuses more on the connective tissues developing flexibility like no other type of yoga, which will prepare the meditator for longer sitting practice. We hold the posture in a relaxed manner for longer time, allowing to cultivate concentration or one pointedness of the mind. In other words, relaxation is the way and observation is the key of this practice.
When we set out on our journey to teach Yin yoga to yoga professionals and practitioners across the world, we had a very clear intention of how we wanted to convey our Yin yoga teacher training. We specialize in delivering a methodology of teaching that is both functional and systematic. Providing yoga teachers with the necessary tools to share the Yin practice in a group, as well as to individualize Yin yoga for the need of each student.

Yin Teacher Training

Aayaa yoga has created a light but detailed course especially for you. In our multi-style school, with time we have experienced that there are several amongst you who have time constraints or would like to learn and focus on only one style.
Keeping convenience, time period and focus in mind and heart, we have designed a creative 50 – hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training Course. The motivation is to create an awareness about yoga, help you find joy in your practice, provide some feeders on human anatomy and introduce you to Yogic Philosophy & Physiology.
Yin yoga teaches you to relax your body deeply, calm your emotions, stimulate the vital energy of the meridians (similar to nadi) and organs, while inducing a deep and intense stretching. Supports such as cushions, balls, tiles are used to allow the body to enter deeply into the asanas thus letting the energy move and remove the emotional blocks that lead to physical blocks. The purpose of yin yoga is to relax the muscles and stimulate the connective tissue by applying optimal tension for a while whilst maintaining a deep breathing.

This teacher training is a advanced program for beginners with basic knowledge of yoga. After the completion of this course, the students will be given a certification of the completion of the 50-hour yin yoga training program from Aayaa yoga School. This 50-hour yin yoga teacher training will be conducted by experienced yin guides and a team of accomplished yoga teachers.
The teachers and guides include a spiritual guide to give you a brief understanding of philosophy and anatomy in the yogic perspective.. This training program aims to provide a solid foundation for you to become an instructor of Yin yoga along with the theories involved with this style.

Yin Yoga

  • Daily yoga asanas classes beginners to intermediate levels
  • Daily shat-kriyas (six channel purification exercises), breath awareness and pranayama practices
  • Karma-yoga and daily mantra recitations
  • Introductory study of Indian philosophies.
  • Daily guided instructions into relaxation and meditation practices
  • 6 nights’ accommodation (with WiFi, ac and geyzer for hot water).
  • Healthy nutritious vegetarian three meals; breakfast, lunch, and dinner and tea coffee and drinking water. ( we do cater to vegans and gluten free diets)
  • Excursion to the adventurous activities including nearby holy shrines and temples white water rafting in the holy Ganges.
